I grew up in an abusive home. Though
impacted by my negative experiences, I am not defined by them. I've spent my life on the healing journey, recovering, reclaiming, and
at times, discovering for the first time my voice and power.
Much of the healing I experienced occurred through the arts,
and as a result I have developed a tremendous respect for the creative
process.
